on every level. Patients often report that not only has their main complaint
disappeared but that they feel better in themselves, more energised, happier,
sleeping better….
Diagnosis
The Acupuncturist's job is to determine which meridians require treatment in
order to return the body to harmony. To do this effectively, it is necessary
to see the patient as a whole, rather than a collection of symptoms. You will
therefore be asked detailed questions about the nature of your symptoms, your
medical history, your lifestyle and your emotional well being. A tongue and
pulse diagnosis will also be taken. All this helps to build up a picture of
how Qi is flowing through your system, where any disharmonies lie, and how to
correct them.
